How to get there from Pettaugh: North out of Pettaugh on the Debenham Road, go straight through Debenham and keep straight on for another four miles or so, and then take the left fork signed Thorndon — about 7 miles total
The Black Horse is a traditional country pub -- built in the 1600’s and luckily survived a fire in 1998 which destroyed much of the roof.
